Germany-based Adidas has linked up with Afropunk Festival on set of Adidas Triple PlatForum high and low sneakers, a silhouette meant to embody the spirit of rebellion associated with the global music platform. Appropriately, music creative Kari Faux (real name Kari Johnson) fronts the campaign.
Commenting on the effort, Anita Asante, Afropunk’s head of global partnerships stated, “Partnering with Adidas is a special moment for us and has been a long time coming. Our community continues to move culture forward with ingenuity and resistance and this year we will celebrate the innovators across our global community of tastemakers who are creating a new world before your eyes.”
Priced at $160 for the Triple PlatForum high and $150 for the Triple PlatForum low, both shoes are now available on adidas.com.
