Teaser images of an Air Jordan 4 and Aleali May sneaker featuring a camo nylon ripstock upper and a tan outsole have emerged. The shoe features a removeable tongue patch detailed with her father’s army unit patch, the Colorado-based 4th Infantry Division Gator Brigade. The shoe is also distinguished by a purple quilted insole, stamped with the letter A, which May uses as a brand motif.
May teased a close up of the removeable patch on the shoe’s tongue on Veterans Day in 2020, describing it as a tribute to her father who is a veteran of Desert Storm and served in the Army for 23 years. At the time, she described the shoe as reserved for friends and family so it’s unknown why a full reveal of the shoe is surfacing now and whether it will ever hit retail.
The shoe follows images of an Air Jordan 14 Low and Aleali May sneaker that popped up back in May. Nordstrom briefly listed the sneaker on its launch calendar but removed it before the date.
