Los Angeles-based Saysh, an athletic brand co-founded by Olympic track athlete Allyson Felix and her brother Wes Felix, has revealed a new Saysh One colorways. Designed for a woman’s foot, the Saysh One celebrates warm weather ease with a color dubbed summer fade, a breezy blue colorway inspired by Los Angeles’ famed pool scene.
Providing individuals a chance to try on the shoe in person, the shoe will make its debut at wholesale at Kith‘s Manhattan and Miami stores. In addition to black and white, the store will exclusively carry the summer fade colorway.
Launched in June 2021, the Saysh One was designed by Natalie Candrian and Tiffany Beers. It features a woven jacquard upper with a snug lacing silhouette and a minimalist one-piece outsole, creating a shoe emphasizing support and comfort.
During the Tokyo Olympics, Felix wore a custom pair of Saysh spikes, the first time an athlete has run in her own shoe. At the event, Felix took home a bronze medal in the 400-meter and gold in the 4 x 400-meter relay, making her the most decorated woman in Olympic track and field history and the most decorated American athlete in Olympic track and field history.
Formerly a Nike athlete, Felix was inspired to start her own brand after the brand offered a severely reduced contract renewal following the birth of her child.
Priced at $150 and available in sizes 5.5-13, Saysh’s Saysho one silhouette is now available at saysh.com and at Kith’s Manhattan and Miami stores.
