Mugler creative director Casey Cadwallader made a big statement with a spring 2022 campaign visual celebrating women unapologetically powerful women. Making references to ballroom dance battles, one of two versions of the video opens with either Bella Hadid or Megan the Stallion, who are followed by model heavy hitters Amber Valetta, Shalom Harlow, Adut Akech and Aweng Chuol, among others.
Taking an expansive approach, the video also includes actresses Hunter Schafer, Dominique Jackson and Chloë Sevigny, model Lourdes Leon, WNBA player Liz Cambage and many more.
The film was directed by Torso and styled by Haley Woolens. Choreography was handled by Miami-based Traci Young-Byron, founder and director of Young Contemporary Dance Theater (YCDT), who employs her famed “Supa Strut” choreography in the video.
Mugler also partnered with Megan on her “Plan B” video, which was directed by Cadwallader.
