Adidas Originals and Grace Wales Bonners have provided a preview of their latest collaborative collection, a capsule highlighted by the Samba sneaker. For fall, the collection three iterations of the shoe: ponyskin leopard with white stripes, ponyskin cream with brown stripes and black suede with white stripes.
More than just another collaboration, Grace Wales Bonner’s interpretations of the classic shoe have played a pivotal role in reinvigorating the Samba. Effortlessly fusing a retro aesthetic with of-the-moment textile and stitching details, the label has breathed new life into this timeless classic.
First launched nearly 75 years ago, the simply classic Samba is having a major moment, and was recently recognized as Shoe of Year by Footwear News.
While pricing isn’t yet available, Adidas Originals and Grace Wales Bonner’s trio of Sambas will launch on November 8, 2023.
