Azealia Banks releases the video for the single “Chasing Time,” the first since the official launch of her album, Broke With Expensive Taste, now available on iTunes. The song, which was released as a single a couple months back, has a breezy dance vibe and speaks to the tried and true theme of leaving behind an impossible love. Banks does drop in some bars and the flow between the music and her rapping is seamless. Dance club diva is a persona that just works for Banks, what with her established cred as a female whose life has had more than its share of hard knocks, and yet, still somehow she rises. We’re just glad to see her on her grind and focusing on her music because despite all her very many antics, we can’t help but root for her.
