Dutch-Caribbean music creative Naomi Sharon mesmerized audiences with a performance of her latest single, “Nothing Sweeter,” during a live acoustic performance on German music platform Colors on Monday (January 29, 2023). Wearing a chic, all leather look by 032C, Sharon showcased her emotive and poignent vocals in a spare rendition of the single released in mid-January. The single follows on the heels of her debut album, Obsidian, her debut project as an OVO signee.
Sharon took to TikTok to share insights into her latest creation. In a post, she wrote, “My new song ‘Nothing Sweeter’ is a vulnerable ode that captures the fragility of falling in love. There’s an indescribable magic in the first kiss with the one you love. Regardless of what follows, that initial kiss remains unmatched and unforgettable.”
