Nike has officially begun to roll out the Air Max Dn, a new silhouette introducing Dynamic Air, a technology featuring a four-tubed air unit. The debut shoe will be offered in a black colorway with hot pink air units (style code: Style: DV3337-008). According to press, “The shoe is the first of the classic footwear collection that incorporates Dynamic Air, which allows for a smooth sensation with each step.”
“We call it ‘dynamic motion,’” said Reggie Hunter, product director for Nike lifestyle footwear. “The independent setup of the chambers means that the air unit can respond to the load of your body with each step. The feeling of heel-to-toe movement is seamless because the air unit is interacting in real time with your foot and moves with you. The Air Max Dn was the first time we were able to unlock that feeling.”
Early pairs have been spotted on U.K.-based designer Clint419 and there also are rumors of an upcoming Supreme collaboration.
Priced at $160 and offered in men’s, women’s and kid’s sizes, the shoe will launch on Air Max Day on March 26th on nike.com.
