¥$, a new group made up of Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) and singer Ty Dolla $ign have dropped a visual for “Talking,” starring Ye’s daughter North West, who’s also credited as a co-director of the video. The song features Ye and Ty Dolla $ign and was co-directed by Aus Taylor. “Talking” is featured on Vultures 1, ¥$’s 16-song, debut album.
Sporting braids and multiple black outfits, the 10-year-old North West is filmed rapping against an array of backdrops, including an outdoor setting with a vulture. In one scene she is shot sparring with her father and in other visuals she is filmed interacting with a group of six girls.
In addition to her father’s projects, North West revealed in her first ever interview in March that she’s working on her own album, titled Elementary School Drop Out. The exchange took place with 13-year-old Jazlyn Guerra, who interviewed North West following her performance at Rolling Loud in Los Angeles.
This is the second video for “Talking,” with the first one uploaded back in February. In the first version of the video, Ty Dolla $ign appeared alongside Jailynn Griffin, his daugther.
