On September 30th, the day that would have been Virgil Abloh‘s 44th birthday LVMH has sold Off-White LLC, the owner of The 11-year old Off-White brand, to Bluestar Alliance LLC, a New York-based brand management company that oversees labels such as Tahari, Bebe, and Scotch & Soda. The terms of the deal, announced Monday, were not disclosed.
LVMH had acquired a 60% stake in Off-White in 2021. Despite the sale, the brand remains under a licensing agreement with New Guards Group, which can be renegotiated or terminated in 2026.
