Nike hasn’t exactly been setting the roof on fire with buzz-worthy women’s releases this summer, and yet….only a fool would describe the mighty Swoosh as fallen off. Rather we think it is retrenching and gathering forces, yes to some degree for the Olympics, but more so 2017. In the meantime, it continues to release the occasional stunner, beautiful for the iconic nature of the silhouettes combined with next-level color and material stories.
The NikeLab Pinnacle collection featured here is one of of those releases. It includes four silhouettes (Pre Montreal Racer, Air Max 90, Air Max 1 and Air Max Thea) and is offered in two colorways, “Pinnacle Blue” and the one guaranteed to break hearts and manipulate minds, the grey-ish, peach-y, palest of lavenders, aka “Violet Ash” colorway, especially as applied to the Thea and Pre-Montreal silhouettes.
These shoes launch on NikeLab.com on May 12th, and range in price from $130-$150.
