Alpha Industries has linked with Urban Outfitters for a capsule of outerwear including the MA-1 bomber in an array of new colors exclusive to UO. Yes, offerings are sized for men, but women have been wearing the men’s versions of bomber jackets since before the look blew up so no big deal.
The campaign for the collaboration is headed by Florida rapper Denzel Curry, whose latest music video, “Zenith,” featuring Joey Bada$$ was produced by UO.
Not new to creating videos, the Curry effort marks UO’s 27th video drop. Prior music video partnerships with artists include Ariel Pink, Tame Impala, Spoon and Blood Orange among others.
The release of the video will be celebrated with an after-hours performance by Curry at Urban Outfitters in Herald Square on Friday, October 14th. The event is open to the public with doors opening at 10:00PM.
The Alpha Industries x UO collection launches October 10th and will be available at urbanoutfitters.com and in select Urban Outfitters stores.
