Inspired by Nike’s SF Air Force 1 boot (No. 2 in our 2016 Snobette Sneaker awards), New York based photographer Jeff Stashbox has been shooting a series titled “U.S. Cozy Girls,” featuring images of women wearing the SF Air Force 1 boot.
Earlier this month, he shot Aurelia in the Hauser & Wirth modern art gallery, located in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood. Reflecting the dark “Binary Blue” hue of the shoe, Stashbox shot Aurelia in the gallery’s staircase, positioned near a blue light. In addition to the SF Air Force 1 boots, Aurelia is wearing a Billionaire Boys Club crewneck and Stüssy quilted sweatpants.
