When Beyoncé bowed out of Coachella because of her pregnancy, Lady Gaga was tapped to fill her spot as a headliner. Coachella went out of its way to make sure a woman filled her spot, a valid priority given a woman hasn’t headlined since Björk way back in 2007.
During her performance last night (April 15, 2017), Gaga was on stage for just over an hour and a half and performed her massive hits “Just Dance,” “Poker Face,” and “Bad Romance,” as well as singles beloved by her fans like “Venus,” “Scheiße,” “Teeth” and “Sexxx Dreams.” She also debuted a new song, titled “The Cure.”
She heads back to Coachella next weekend as the headliner on April 22nd.
