Brooklyn singer/rapper Leaf aka Mikala Leaf McLean has dropped “Gimme Some,” the first single from her long-awaited upcoming album, Trinity. Very much a sultry electronic slow-jam, the single makes the most of the sexy swagger Leaf is known for. (Not to compare, but there’s a crazy level of authenticity to Leaf that a lot of other artists in her lane simply don’t possess.)
Along with the single, the Fool’s Gold/RPM MSC-signed artist also let it be known Trinity, now available for pre-order on iTunes, will drop on August 18, 2017. She will perform at Fool’s Gold Records Day Off concert in Brooklyn on August 19th.
