Not that he would listen, but if our nut job in chief ever wanted to get a clue on how to act like the leader of the free world much less tweet effectively, he’d do right to take a page out of Rihanna‘s book.
After popping into London to promote Valerian, Rihanna headed over to the Élysée Palace in Paris today (July 26, 2017), where she met with President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron.
The trio met to discuss issues related to education as part of Rihanna’s role as ambassador for the Global Partnership for Education. The meeting came about following a tweet from Rihanna, who asked Macron if he would commit to funding education programs.
Both Rihanna and the First Lady did their part to uphold Paris’s reputation for chic yet classic fashion. with Rihanna taking a more formal approach, wearing an over-sized navy blue suit jacket (we’ve imagined it belongs to her new beau, Hassan Jameel!) layered over a pre-fall 2017 sculpted Celine jumpsuit, accessorized with Sergio Rossi heels and a Dior all-over logo bag.
The First Lady went dress casual, wearing a short-sleeve, cropped white jacket with skinny jeans paired with navy pumps.
The Rihanna tweet that started the dialog:
🇫🇷 bonjour @EmmanuelMacron, will France commit to #FundEducation?
