Rumors of a sneaker collaboration aligning Adidas, Pharrell Williams and Karl Lagerfeld have been confirmed today (October 26, 2017) by WWD.
Working off of the Adidas HU silhouette, the shoe will be released as part of Chanel and Lagerfeld’s month-long takeover of Colette’s first floor. The publication didn’t provide an image of the shoe though images of a black and white Adidas HU were widely circulated earlier this month.
According to WWD, the Colette residency will include a series of events, including a discussion on style led by Chanel Chanel ambassador Caroline de Maigret, while fashion writer Daphné Hézard will host a Tuesday and Thursday podcast, which will include interviews with people associated with Chanel.
There will also be appearances by Chanel makeup artist Lucia Pica, Futura 2000 and a performance by Ibeyi.
