Fifty-six years after the release of the much loved Breakfast at Tiffany’s, the venerated fine jewelry company at the center of the film has opened an actual cafe within its New York Fifth Avenue store. Called the Blue Box Café, the restaurant is located above the store on the fourth floor.
Naturally, the color scheme of the restaurant is the company’s trademarked Tiffany Blue, a color applied to banquettes, chairs, and walls, all designed by Tiffany’s head creative, Reed Krakoff . For those who want a piece of the Tiffany Blue action, items from the dinnerwear are available for purchase in the store and on the site.
According to eater.com (which has the full menu), breakfast is priced at $29 and includes croissant, fruit, and a choice of dishes like truffle eggs and avocado toast. Lunch is priced at $39 and includes an appetizer and entree such as a chicken BLT sandwich. Tea service is $49 and includes a selection of pastries.
The cafe opened its doors for service on November 10, 2017 at 727 Fifth Avenue. It’s open Monday-Friday from 10:00 AM EST with the last seating at 5:30 PM EST. On Sunday, it opens at 12:00 PM EST with the last seating at 4:30 PM EST.
