A reflection of Virgil Abloh‘s more artful and community-oriented side, images of a shoe have leaked indicating the ever-busy designer is working on a project with the Museum of Modern Art, using his Nike Air Force 1 and Off-White collaborative shoe to create the connection.
Images include black low-top Air Force 1 sneakers along with the box, complete with a style number. The shoe features a metallic Swoosh, signature Off-White industrial lettering and of course the plastic zip tie.
Beside the color, one big difference between the original Nike and Off-White AF1 is the MOMA shoe’s zip tie passes through the laces rather than the lace eyelet.
Further confirming the project, Toronto rapper Drake (who has an extensive collection of Nike x OW shoes) recently was spotted court side in a pair of the shoes.
