Flashy NBA point guard Russell Westbrook who regularly lights up Twitter with his pre- and post-game fashion choices, is collaborating with Barney’s on a curated collection of clothing accessories called Westbrook XO Barneys. Some of the brands included are Jordan, Marcelo Burlon and Naked & Famous, as well as accessories from Want Les Essentiels, Selima Optique, Del Toro and Globe-Trotter. The Westbrook items will also include a hang tag that reads “Westbrook XO Barneys New York,” short for “Westbrook Exclusively Ours Barneys New York.” Items will hit stores in August.
Westbrook travels for the first time to Paris today to promote the collection. When asked about the trip, according to WWD he said, “I’m think I’m going to shop. I know that for sure. And go sightseeing.” After Paris, he heads to Switzerland to visit with Zenith Watches, for which he is a brand ambassador. More of the collection below. All images via WWD.
