If you haven’t yet noticed, Britney Spears as of late is in the midst of a nostalgia-fueled come back. Not that she ever left, but her once ardent fan base has reached the age of looking back with fondness on their Y2K-era teen years. It helps immensely that Spears is viewed as culturally correct, leaving her in good standing with the woke patrol.
French label Kenzo taps into the rising fever with a spring 2018 collection featuring the Y2K-era pop star. Spears is shot wearing items from the label’s revived archival items dubbed La Collection Memento N°2, inspired by the label’s 1986 Paris runway debut of Kenzo jeans. In addition to denim, the collection includes separates and accessories detailed with the label’s tiger and wave motifs.
