Melbourne, Australia label I.AM.GIA as led by Alanna and Stevie Pallister made its runway debut at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Sidney, Australia last week (May 15, 2018) with a 67-piece collection which included the label’s first foray into menswear.
Fresh off of walking Chanel, Nigerian-Chinese-American model Adesuwa Aighewi opened a runway revealing tons of skin with silhouettes like low slung pants as well as coordinated cropped jackets and mini-skirt sets. Driving home the body theme, multiple models sported exposed thongs, an early oughts-era trend (thank you, Paris) that’s been creeping back into fashion as of late.
