In the ninth year of its artist collaborative series, 1800 Tequila partners with New York-based artist Shantell Martin on a limited edition collection of bottles. Significantly, Martin is the first woman to design the six-bottle collection, titled “Essential 1800 Artist Series.” Her bottles are titled “Yes to Yes,” “Be Honest,” “Who Are You,” “See Can See” and “The Future.”
Commenting on the effort, Marin stated in a press release, “As an artist I’m always trying to think out of the box and into different mediums. Using the 1800 Tequila bottle as an unexpected canvas is another way of transporting my art and starting new conversations inspired by my work.”
Previous featured artists include Jean-Michel Basquiat, Enoc Perez and Keith Haring.
