In celebration of the second season of TNT’s “Claws,” the TNT-produced series has kicked off “Claws Up” tour,a mobile pop up that kicked off today (June 6, 2018) at Macy’s Herald Square. The event included complimentary manicures with designs created by Lady Fancy Nails aka Eda Levenson, as well as a girl boss panel hosted by “The Breakfast Club” host Angela Yee. If you’re not in on “Claws” yet, the series title references Nail Artisans, a nail salon in Florida owned by Desna Simms as played by actress Niecy Nash. More than just a place to get a banging fresh set, the salon is involved with a money laundering scheme managed by the mafia, creating lots of spicy scenarios. Additional cast members include Carrie Preston, Judy Reyes, Karrueche Tran and Jenn Lyon, among others.
