A big development in the beauty world, Kylie Jenner announced on Twitter today (August 30, 2018) that Kylie Cosmetics will be carried by Ulta Beauty in all doors and on ulta.com starting holiday 2018.
This is good news for Kylie Cosmetic fans, who until now haven’t had a chance to test the product before purchasing. The line launched as Kylie Lip Kits in November 2015 with a lipstick and lip liner set, but now offers eye shadow, eye liner, concealer, blush and brushes among other items.
Forbes recently valued the company at $900 million, a number that put the 21-year-old Jenner on track to be the youngest person to achieve billionaire status.
The expansion is also great news for Ulta, which can now claim a brick-and-mortar exclusive on a brand that was previously available only through kyliecosmetics.com.
Ulta is known for its high/low approach to the beauty category and in February excited makeup lovers when it added low-cost Colourpop to its stores.
