Karl Lagerfeld and Puma has announced plans for a first-time collaborative capsule of clothing and shoes. The effort is part of Puma’s “Suede 50 effort celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Suede silhouette. The collection will drop on October 19, 2018, three days after the shoe made its official debut.
In addition to a Suede sneaker that makes a neat references to a tuxedo collar, the collection will include a men’s and women’s clothing capsule plus accessories, all of which are offered in Lagerfeld’s signature black and white color scheme. Items are dual branded with Karl and the Puma cat .
Women’s offerings include a tuxedo-inspired T7 tracksuit and jumpsuit, a track shirt and a cropped t-shirt. The men’s collection features a hoodie and sweatpants, plus a logo t-shirt. Accessories include a backpack, shoulder bag and baseball cap.
The Karl Lagerfeld and Puma collection will be available for pre-sale at karl.com and puma.com on October 18th and globally on October 19th at online stores plus Karl Lagerfeld and Puma retail stores, along with select retailers.
