SZA has been dropping hints about the imminent drop of a deluxe version of her CTRL album and on Thursday (September 6, 2018), she let a fan on Twitter know that one of her music projects is complete.
In response to a fan that griped, “me when i heard @sza was already working on her sophomore album despite promising us & never releasing the deluxe version of ctrl,” SZA responded, “Maybe cause A’s already done”
For back story on what “A” might be, SZA’s first EP was titled “S” and her second one was called “Z.” There was talk she would complete the trilogy with an “A” album but instead in June 2017 she released Ctrl, her debut album.
Our guess is that “A” is a reference to the deluxe version of Ctrl or an EP with altogether new music. SZA posted the image show above on Augusut 28th so we know she’s been putting in her time in the studio. However, what exactly she finished is not at all clear.
Meanwhile, we’re also still waiting on the launch of her sustainable-themed clothing label.
