Shown during Milan Fashion Week, designer Angel Chen’s collection for fall 2017 is aptly titled “Modern Tribes,” reflecting a group of men and women whose distinct style statements and point of view set them apart from the pack.
In Chen’s circle, the tribe is artsy, sporty and flashy at the same time. Highlights include a painterly graphic that reminds of Michel Basquiat, a design that syncs up nicely with the collection’s joyful mix of textures and colors.
