Female rappers Megan Thee Stallion and Saweetie paid a visit to New York and put in work at Spotify headquarters where they both recorded “Flow” freestyles on video for the platform’s highly influential RapCaviar platform.
Megan’s freestyle was queued up first and Spotify described it as kicking off Women’s History Month. Meanwhile, Saweetie is gearing up to drop her first EP and you can check another freestyle by her here.
In a noteworthy development for Spotify, Tuma Base, who’s often credited as the force behind RapCaviar’s nine million followers, has stepped down from his role and has taken a position with YouTube.
