Wesc announced earlier this week the consolidation of their design team under the direction of Natalia Altewai and Randa Saome, the duo behind Altewaisaome for womenswear, plus Mattias Sahlin of Surf brand Encore for men. As many sportswear labels have been able to capitalize on the current buzz of streetwear, we see this as a great opportunity for Wesc to have a more significant impact in sportswear. and possibly make up for lost time. The Autumn 2014 collections will be shown in Berlin and New York Fashion Week and will hit retail in August 2014.
