Beyonce grabs the cover (see below) for Time magazine’s yearly “Most Influential People of 2014. Other folks in the music entertainment business include Miley Cyrus and Pharrell Williams. And while we’re excited to see the very deserving Bey on the cover, there is also a deep satisfaction from seeing Time recognize the business world achievements of Celine designer Phoebe Filo and Net-A-Porter founder Natalie Massanet (see video below) also on the list. Filo and Massanet make up two of four women recognized in the business category, which included 18 individuals. One could credit Filo with leading the minimalist movement that has taken over the fashion world and Massanet has been a brilliant leader in the world of online retail. Kudos to all.
