G-Star has been previewing Autumn 2014 and we stopped by the SoHo offices yesterday to have a look. The label has always had a very strong design team, which is very attuned directional but even still, the collection stood out as stellar. One of our favorite items was a wool blend plaid pant suit (jacket shown above, more pics below as modeled by G-Star p.r. rep Cache Livingston) featuring a high water tapered leg. The preview also included a couple of sneak peak pieces (we can’t post the pics just yet) from G-Star’s “Raw for the Oceans” collection, a small capsule of items made from recycled ocean plastics that the label is collaborating on with Pharrell Williams and Bionic Yarn.
