Erykah Badu, who according to a recent Tweet, has family residing in America back through “5-6” generations, recently linked with OkayPlayer as part of an ongoing series called “The Roots Of….” that uses dna to research the subject’s roots. In the video, it is revealed that Badu’s maternal lineage comes through the Bamileke people of Cameroon.
