Target has announced its next designer collaboration, this time with New York-based, rising star Altuzarra as led by Joseph Altuzarra. According to press, announced this morning:
“[W]ith almost 50 pieces in the collection, fans of the label can expect to be seduced from all angles with everything from thigh-grazing stiletto boots to slim-cut blazers to his signature slit skirts. Prices are set to start at $24.99 and max out at a mere $99.99, and that makes the idea of shopping for an entirely new fall wardrobe all the more alluring. “
The collection will be available September 14th at most Target stores in the United States and Canada, as well as Target.com. Additionally, an edited assortment of the Target collection will be available globally at Net-A-Porter.
From the description it sounds like the collection will be a bit more luxurious (stiletto boots!) than anything Target has attempted in the past. And while H&M’s collaboration with Alexander Wang is probably the biggest get for a volume retailer thus far this year, Altuzarra is a good feather in Target’s cap and one that may be viewed as more exciting for hardcore fashion fans.
