Korean-born designer Hyein Seo this past week presented her graduation show as a student at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. The show was themed around teen angst and struggle, especially in relationship to schooling. Case in point, one of the props included in the presentation and lookbook was a book titled, School Ruined My Life.
Seo has received a bit more attention than the average student at Antwerp in part because her “Fear” collection shown at Vfiles presentation (see video below starting at 3:33) during New York Fashion Week in February, was well received and also because it was subsequently worn on none other than Rihanna during her attendance at Paris Fashion Week.
