New York-based Married to the Mob has collaborated with Chinese streetwear label Clot on a Peanuts-themed collection featuring Charlie Brown, Lucy and Snoopy. The line soon will be available in limited distribution, including Married to the Mob’s own online shop plus other select online shops in China and the United States. From what we can see from lookbook images (featuring head MTTM boss and founder, Leah McSweeney) the collection includes a Snoopy top, Lucy leggings and a varsity jacket that includes Married to the Mob and Clot branding, along with Peanuts characters, Charlie Brown, Lucy and Snoopy.
The Peanuts crew has collaborated with quite a few fashion brands this year, most recently on a bag collection with Coach, Earlier this year, the comic strip characters were also linked with Stussy and Bape. In the case of Married to the Mob, there is something especially about the connection. After all Married to the Mob like the Peanuts is known for its tight crew, and then really, it’s hard to imagine a character who would be more at home than Lucy in a “Supreme Bitch” tee. If she ever were to receive a 2014 update, you know she would totally be rocking kicks and leggings.
