Showing yet again how serious it is about growing its women’s business, Nike through its NikeLab format has announced it has partnered with Brazilian designer Pedro Laurenco on an eight-piece collection, which is described in press as “finely knit mesh, woven satin and even an embossed crocodile motif in couture-inspired silhouettes.”
Nike worked with Nowness to create the video below, which was shot in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains. Directed by Abteen Baghari it features French dancer Hajiba Fahmy whose moves were choreographed by Aaron Sillis. Music is provided by Jessy Lanza, a Canadian electronic songwriter who has performed with Beyonce. The collection will be available at NikeLab stores worldwide and at Nike.com on November 13th.
