New York based premium headphone company Master & Dynamic is collaborating for the first time with Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez on on a capsule collection of its MH40 model headphones limited to a total of 200 pairs of each colorway.
Master & Dynamic is themed around creating long-lasting products that feature high-quality materials and provide a warm sound. The Proenza capsule features a goatskin headband lined with lambskin and perforated lampskin ear pads. The three different colorway offerings are “Proenza Schouler” blue, off-white with copper and black with gunmetal. Headphones are packaged in a blue canvas pouch within an engraved leather box. Priced at $495, these make a great looking gift for the music lover who also appreciates beautiful aesthetics. Now available for purchase on MasterDynamics.
Coverage of the collaboration will be included in an upcoming issue of Vogue, which also features an image of Azealia Banks, who was among musical artists McCollough and Hernandez say inspired the label’s Spring 2015 label.
