Hellz Bellz‘s latest lookbook titled “B.W.A: Straight Outta Hellz” pays tribute to legendary Compton, California’90s rap group N.W.A. with a black/white color theme used on the sport-themed silhouettes that were then a mainstay of urban fashion back in the day. Styled by Hellz head boss Miss Lawn, shot by Alexander Gay and modeled by Live Mathis, this collection is now available for purchase on the brand’s website.

Spain-born Abraham Ortúno Perez has made a name f

Spain-born Abraham Ortúno Perez has made a name for himself as an avant-garde designer, known for his work on Loewe’s broken egg sandals and Jacquemus’s double-stacked kitten heels.

Perez presented his Spring 2025 collection during Paris Fashion Week under his own label, @abra_now Abra (short for Abraham), which he launched in 2020.

For this collection, Perez drew inspiration from the evolution of Hannah Montana into Miley Cyrus and the early 2000s teen show H2O: Just Add Water. The result was a playful line of clothing and accessories that exuded artful summer vibes.

Notable highlights included handbags and shoes inspired by everyday shopping bags, oversized thong sandals and a fringed Adidas Superstar sneaker silhouette in collaboration with Adidas Originals.

Perez’s Abra label stands out as one of fashion's rising talents to watch.

Designer Hedi Slimane has exited the LVMH-owned Ce

Designer Hedi Slimane has exited the LVMH-owned Celine after seven years at its helm, a move that's said to have come after months of difficult contract negotiations.

Shortly after the news of Slimane stepping down, Celine announced Michael Rider as the label's new artistic director. Rider will be returning to the label where he was design director of ready-to-wear from 2008 to 2018, working under then-creative director Phoebe Philo.

Speaking to the length of negotiations, WWD reported back in April that the label was preparing for Slimane's exit and at the time mentioned Polo Ralph Lauren creative director Michael Rider was being considered as his replacement.

Commenting on Slimane's exit, LVMH said in a statement: "Under his creative and artistic direction, Celine has experienced exceptional growth and established itself as an iconic French couture house.

"The holistic vision of Hedi Slimane, his exigence and rigor have made it possible to redefine the codes of Celine whilst reaffirming its feminine and Parisian roots.He has also remarkably enriched new territories for the maison such as the men’s silhouette, couture and haute parfumerie. The extraordinary journey taken together over the last seven years has made Celine a house with a formidable foundation for the future.”

With Slimane out at Celine, there's renewed chatter he will be appointed Chanel creative director. According to WWD, Chanel executives stated this week that the storied luxury house is not yet ready to reveal its next creative leader, adding that it's not necessarily looking for a big-name designer.
