Mara Hoffman took a different approach for Autumn 2015, greatly expanding her fabric universe, using the wardrobe and world of Star Wars’ Jedi as her inspiration and springboard. As such, the offerings feel a bit weightier, as well cozier. She even included some winter weight coats that indeed look and feel like they would be perfect for a chilly night on the desert planet of Tatoine (or if one is confined to Earth, the city of Los Angeles). The label’s signature geometric prints are present, though again, used on Autumn weight knits. The grouping that popped the most for us was the creamy dresses featuring gold foil details, casual yet regal and we can’t help but think Padmé would be smitten by them, too 😉
