Ciara has released the video for her single “I Bet,” based, she says on real life events. The song is pretty good but is not amazing and further reinforces Ciara’s just-below-top-shelf status as a pop star. Frankly, it is hard to understand why Ciara’s reign as a singer hasn’t been more high octane, certainly she has next level looks and body, can sing and dance more than well enough and possesses above average levels of charisma. Probably someone with deep music industry knowledge could break it down in a snap and no doubt the explanation will include talk of double standards and how hard out there it is for any artist to reach and maintain super nova status. In the meantime we remain fans and are happy to see her stay in the public eye.
