A big theme for Levi’s preview for Autumn 2015 included the further expansion of lot sizes for women, expanding on the big success of its 501 CT line, which offers the vintage feel of the original 501 with a tapered leg. The preview also included a section of historic denim pieces from the brand’s museum in San Francisco, including the first pair of jeans made for women, first-time coverage in Vogue magazine in 1935 and a pair of jeans from the 2001 line that was first previewed by Destiny’s Child.
Levi’s preview events are always gorgeously styled and this event was no exception. Throughout the large showroom space located in the brand’s spacious New York headquarters, male and female models, wearing footwear ranging from Nike Air Force 1s to Prada flats, modeled the various lot styles, plus looks from the commuter line, and its higher-priced Made and Crafted and vintage offerings. Levi’s also previewed the launch of its most complete line of leather bags and accessories to date. All images by Lois Sakany for The Snobette.
