Watch the trailer for on upcoming documentary simply called “Amy” about the British singer Amy Winehouse, who passed away on July 23, 2011 at the age of 27. Directed by Asif Kapadia, the movie will open in Irish and U.K. theaters on July 1st and will feature unseen archive footage and previously unheard tracks. Within the clip when Amy is asked in an early interview how big she thinks she will become and heartbreakingly foreshadows her own demise, stating, “I don’t think I’m going to be at all famous. I don’t think I could handle it. I’d probably go mad.” There is no information yet on when this film will be launched worldwide.
