Moschino under the design direction of Jeremy Scott once again included women’s looks in its menswear offerings for resort 2016. Offerings included sporty dresses featuring bright red, yellow and blue race-car graphics, a straight hybrid of sport and dress looks, which segued into a further examination by Scott of formal dresswear featuring satin fabric overlaid with outlines of animated characters. There was also a grouping of black laces-themed pieces modeled by men that could just as easily be women’s pieces.
All told, Scott continues to blaze his own private-Idaho trail at Moshcino, eschewing the high fashion dictates of how collections should be presented, and at the same time rejiggering and questioning that which presentations are intended to accomplish.
