Stüssy‘s lookbook for Autumn 2015 features lots of great looks for women, many of them reflective of a move toward a more off hand look and slouchier silhouette, almost ’70s and ’80s back-to-school before the concept of ath-leisure existed (which in some ways reminds of Hyein Sun’s highly influential “School Kills” collection). We’re deeming this look “Pre-Selfie Casual” because it speaks to a period when youthful looks were more relaxed and less stylized and every move made wasn’t documented and subsequently judged with an inch of its life on 18 different social media formats.
The outerwear pieces pop out the most, especially the slouchy coat that looks like a furry robe; the upside down rouched skirt is also a banger as is the super clever “One Love” crossbody bag. All told, tons to love! Kudos to the design team. Shout out to Adidas Originals and Vans Classics, def the casual “it” shoes for 2015.
