Puma and Alife have released images from what will be their second capsule together. This time around the sport-themed collection is stamped with Puma’s archival logo as well as the number 158, representing the original address for the game-changing Alife sneaker boutique, which opened at 158 Rivington Street. Silhouettes include a windbreaker, plus jerseys inspired by the sports of football and soccer.
The second part of the collection includes graphics inspired by the “Welcome to Fear City” pamphlets distributed to tourists visiting New York City in 1975, reflecting one of the City’s low points in terms of crime and how it was perceived by the outside world. An Olympic track jacket with coordinated pants plus a running tee all feature text and artwork from the survival guide.
Footwear includes two models of Puma’s R698 plus the Blaze of Glory for which the Trinomic sole is detailed with a sprayed and speckled graphic.
Look for this collection to hit retailers on 13th February, 2016.
