Signaling the end of the Donna Karan-led era and the start of a new direction as led by Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, DKNY closed its March runway presentation with print emblazoned black crewnecks that toyed with the meaning of the label’s four initials, reading “Don’t Knock New York,” “Dazed Kids New York” and “Designers Know Nothing Yet.” The sweatshirts will go on sale tomorrow at the brand’s New York location at 420 Broadway, as well as online.
Made in New York, there will be a limited run of 150 shirts for each of the three acronyms, all of which are tagged with the number within the run. While these may not be a pair of Yeezy Boosts, they’re sure to sell out quickly so if you’re reading this past April 15th, there’s a good chance you’re too late for anything but Ebay. [UPDATE: There are still shirts available post-launch day. Priced at $398, you can shop for all three here.]
