Swizerland-based luxury watch brand Audemars Piguet partners with Brooklyn-based artist Brian Donnely aka KAWS to unveil an artful new iteration of the Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon, spotlighting the artist’s iconic Companion character.
The 43mm brushed and sandblasted titanium timepiece brings KAWS’ playful artistry to life in a sculptural form. The Companion, features its iconic skull-shaped head, X-shaped eyes, and gloved hands, appears to press against the sapphire crystal, creating an almost lifelike interaction. At the heart of the design lies the tourbillon cage, a tribute to KAWS’ Dissected series. The The AP Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon “Companion” is limited to 250 units and retails for about $226 ,000 USD.
