The Best Of #NoBoho Style At Coachella 2016 Weekend Two

April 27, 2016. Leave a Comment

Last week on our Instagram feed, we started a Coachella “NoBoho” hashtag, highlighting attendees wearing anything not Bohemian. It was just our little attempt to loosen the chokehold the hippy look has had on the event since its inception, so much so that the name of the festival is now used as a fashion description implying flowy skirts, crochet crop tops, funky fringe & floral crowns. No shade on crochet or beads, but a little variety would be nice!

For weekend No. 2, we had a photog on the scene who shot festival goers who bucked the hippy trend and opted instead for streetwear-inspired looks, which, not surprising given the desert location, often were chopped or cropped to reflect 100 degree temps and dirt-filled dust storms.

See all the looks below, as shot by Soleil B (who did it all with an iPhone and shout out to Coachella for its control freakazoid pro-camera rules!)
