Highlighting its current offerings for men and women, Kenzo worked with Berlin photographer Jonas Lindstroem in a shoot that asks, “What’s the voice of this generation,” concluding, “maybe there isn’t one.” Shot mostly in the great outdoors in shadow-filled light, The GIF-based lookbook is also meant to “blur the lines between nature and man-made.”
With the models shot for the most part solo, the shoot conveys themes of human alienation, which given all of our heavy reliance on devices perhaps is one of this generation’s more foreboding messages. The opposite of the bright shoots the brand is known for, these images certainly add some artful layers to the Kenzo brand.
